Hitting rebar or damaging tension cables is a common problem when drilling in reinforced concrete. Besides the fact that this damages your expensive drilling or grinding tools, it can also have far-reaching consequences for the structure of the concrete construction. This risk can be limited by using a rebar detector! The M-101 rebar detector from Fisher is a metal detector that has been specially developed for detecting and locating rebar, tension cables and wall anchors in walls, floors, columns and ceilings. The electronics housing is worn on the chest by means of the supplied strap; the lightweight handle with search coil is held in one hand, leaving the other hand free to mark out the correct position of the detected metal if necessary.

Electronics housing with two controls for sensitivity and depth, signal strength meter and headphone connection option (optional) for use in noisy environments. The detection signal is indicated both visually (deflection meter) and by an audible signal. Waterproof search coil. The detection depth for rebar of ø 13 mm is 20 cm. Accuracy approx. 5 mm. Equipped with two PP3 9V batteries. Supplied as standard with a carrying strap for the electronics housing and carrying bag.
