C.Scope – CXL4 Cable Detector
Accurate localization of cables and pipes
The new C.Scope CXL4 Dual Frequency Cable Detector is the successor to the well-known and widely used standard CXL2 Cable Detector. In addition to the introduction of innovative functions, the already widely appreciated features have been improved to detect even the most difficult-to-trace cables and pipes. And all this while operation has remained simple and minimal training is required. Thanks to the digital electronics, no annual calibration is necessary, resulting in cost savings and allowing the equipment to be used without interruption. The CXL4 has an IP65 protection rating, can be used as a standalone unit or optionally in combination with the SGA4 or SGV4 Signal Generator, and comes with a warranty period of no less than three years!

Power – for locating live cables
Radio – for detecting radio signals often already present on cables and metal pipes
Generator – when using the Cable Detector in combination with the SGA4 or SGV4 Signal Generator, allowing even more cables and pipes to be located (for more info; see SGA4 / SGV4)
AllScan – for detecting all present signals
Automatic Daily Self Test; the results of this self-test are stored, after which a Product Validation Certificate can be printed if desired
AlarmZone function; warning for exceptionally shallow cables and pipes
PeakHold; extended display of the maximum meter deflection
SwingSensor; An audible signal indicates that an excessive sweeping motion is being made, which can lead to inaccurate positioning. Distinctive sound tone per search mode. The illuminated LCD screen displays the search mode, signal strength, and battery condition. Removable loudspeaker for use in noisy environments. Maximum detection depth of 3 m. Lightweight and user-friendly. Batteries included (for approx. 40 hours of continuous use). Little prior knowledge required; on-site training can be offered as an option. IP65: dust and splash-proof. Three-year warranty. Calibration-free.
