C.Scope Sonde Minitran 33kHz

Locating non-conductive pipes and conduits

The C.Scope Minitran transmitter, also called a "sonde," is used completely independently and is compatible with all C.Scope cable locators equipped with the depth measurement option. In most cases, the Minitran transmitter is screwed onto the end of a drain cleaning set or tension spring, inserted into the pipe or drain to be inspected, and moved further. Above ground, the user can follow the movement of the Minitran in transmitter mode with a C.Scope Cable Locator tuned to the same frequency. If the pipe is compressed or clogged, the Minitran stops at that location and, based on the signal it emits, can determine where the pipe needs to be repaired. The depth can be determined up to a maximum of 6 meters.
