Versatile package with MXL4-D and MXL4-DBG cable detectors

The MXT4 signal generator, together with the MXL4-D and MXL4-DBG Cable Locators, forms a versatile, all-round package for tracing and locating cables and pipes. With the six different output frequencies, including the combined frequency – 33+131kHz, thin and/or poorly earthed cables as well as multiple pipes can be supplied with a signal and detected simultaneously by direct connection or by the simple induction method via the ground or by the coiling method. This optimises the performance of the Cable Locator and allows the user to locate more underground cables and pipes, including those of house connections and public lighting. The unique feature of the MXT4 Signal Generator is that it is equipped with data logging, so that all activities are stored in the internal memory for twelve months! In addition, the MXT4 has a high-resolution illuminated LCD screen and an Automatic Daily Self Test is performed every day; The results of this self-test are stored, after which a Product Validation Certificate can be printed if desired (these functions are also available on the SGV4). Thanks to the digital electronics, annual calibration is not required, which saves money and allows the equipment to be used without interruption. The SGV4 has an IP65 rating, a convenient compartment for storing standard accessories, and a three-year warranty!
