Versatile package with CXL4 and DXL4 cable detectors

The SGA3 signal generator, together with the CXL4 and DXL4 Cable Detectors, forms a versatile, all-round package for tracing and detecting cables and pipes. With the combined output frequency of the SGV4 – 33+131kHz, thin and/or poorly earthed cables as well as multiple pipes can be supplied with a signal and detected simultaneously by means of direct connection or by the simple induction method via the ground or by the winding method. This optimises the performance of the Cable Detector and enables the user to trace more underground cables and pipes, including those of house connections and public lighting. The unique feature of the SGV4 Signal Generator is that it is equipped with data logging, which means that all activities are stored in the internal memory for twelve months! In addition, the SGV4 has a high-resolution illuminated LCD screen and an Automatic Daily Self Test is performed every day; The results of this self-test are stored, after which a Product Validation Certificate can be printed if necessary (these functions can also be found on the MXT4). Due to the digital electronics, no annual calibration is required, which results in cost savings and also allows the equipment to be used without interruption. The SGV4 has an IP65 sealing degree, a handy compartment for storing the standard accessories and has a warranty period of no less than three years!
