Tracing of non-metallic pipes

The Flexi Tracer can be used extremely effectively for locating and tracing non-metallic lines, pipes, and small-diameter sewer and drainage tubes. In combination with a C.Scope Cable Detector and Signal Generator, the Flexi Tracer can be used to determine both the course and a specific (end) point of a non-metallic pipe. This is particularly useful for detecting blockages or other obstructions in the pipe. If a Cable Detector with depth measurement is used, the depth of this pipe/blockage can also be determined. The Flexi Tracer consists of a fiberglass cord on a reel that rotates around a shaft. Thanks to the slip ring in the shaft, the Signal Generator can remain connected to the connection points of the reel while the cord is inserted into the pipe to be traced. The – also flexible – probe at the end of the Flexi Tracer allows the end point of the pipe to be determined as well.
