Accurately locate cables and pipes
The XL4 series of Cable Locator equipment succeeds the well-known XL2 series. In addition to the introduction of innovative functions, the already widely appreciated features have been improved to detect even the most difficult to trace cables and pipes. All this while operation has remained simple and requires minimal training. Brand new is the C.Scope MXL4-D multi-frequency Cable Locator with depth measurement and data logging. With this, the search operations are stored in the internal memory for twelve months and it is possible to trace which Cable Locator has been used where, when and in which search mode. With the six different output frequencies, including the combined frequency – 33+131kHz, a wide variety of cables and pipes can be detected quickly and accurately by direct connection, by the simple induction method via ground or by the winding method. With optimized Locator Sensitivity and Noise Rejection, the MXL4-D functions even under very high levels of background interference, allowing it to detect even the weakest signals (a GPS and Bluetooth version is also available, the MXL4-DBG). The digital electronics eliminate the need for annual calibration, resulting in cost savings and allowing for uninterrupted use. The MXL4-D has an IP65 rating, can be used as a standalone unit or in combination with the MXT4 Signal Generator, and comes with a three-year warranty!
