C.Scope – MXL4-D Cable Detector

Accurate localization of cables and pipes

The XL4 series of cable detection equipment succeeds the well-known XL2 series. In addition to the introduction of innovative functions, the already widely appreciated features have been improved to detect even the most difficult-to-trace cables and pipes. And all this while operation has remained simple and minimal training is required. Completely new is the C.Scope MXL4-D multi-frequency cable detector with depth measurement and data logging. Search operations are stored in the internal memory for twelve months, allowing you to track which cable detector was used where, when, and in which search mode. With six different output frequencies, including the combined frequency – 33+131kHz – a wide variety of cables and pipes can be detected quickly and accurately via direct connection, the simple induction method via the ground, or the winding method. With optimized Locator Sensitivity and Noise Rejection, the MXL4-D functions even at very high levels of background interference, allowing even the weakest signals to be detected (there is also a version with GPS and Bluetooth functionality: the MXL4-DBG). Thanks to the digital electronics, no annual calibration is required, resulting in cost savings and ensuring the equipment can be used without interruption. The MXL4-D has an IP65 protection rating, can be used as a standalone unit or optionally in combination with the MXT4 Signal Generator, and comes with a warranty period of no less than three years!
