C.Scope Minitran 8kHz Probe

Locating non-conductive tubes and pipes

The C.Scope Minitran transmitter, also known as a ‘probe’, is used completely independently and is compatible with all C.Scope cable detectors equipped with the depth measurement option. In most cases, the Minitran transmitter is screwed onto the end of a drain cleaning kit or drain snake, inserted into the pipe or drain line to be inspected, and moved forward. Above ground, the user can monitor the movement of the Minitran in transmitter mode using a C.Scope Cable Detector tuned to the same frequency. If the pipe is compressed or clogged at any point, the Minitran stops at this location, and the location where the pipe needs to be repaired can be determined based on the signal emitted. Depths can be determined up to a maximum of 6 meters.
